Yes, you can change your email address in your Research Square account. To do so, you will need to start by creating a new account and then merge this new account with your existing account. Here are the steps for that process.
- Create an account with your new email address following the steps in this link.
- From the dropdown under your name, select “Profile”.
- Select the option “Own another account? Merge your accounts”.
- Enter the email address of your other account and select the “VERIFY EMAIL” button.
- An email will be sent to verify your email address. Use the link in the email to verify and complete the merging of your accounts.
If you can no longer receive emails at your email address, please contact us so our team can assist you with this account merge.
Once this merge is completed, any preprints associated with both accounts will appear for the selected account.
